Developed using Electron Beam Curing (EBC) technology, AFX introduces an advanced surface layer that enhances resistance to wear, marking, and environmental exposure beyond that of standard high-pressure laminates. The result is a refined ultra-matte finish with controlled consistency across panels, supporting reliable specification outcomes at scale.
Material Selection & Project Support
AFX laminates are supplied in standard sheet sizes for fabrication onto compatible substrates, or can be incorporated into panels manufactured in-house to suit specific project requirements.
With a controlled, uniform surface finish, AFX supports consistent outcomes across larger panel runs and multi-surface applications where visual continuity is essential.
For larger projects, décor selection can be supported with samples and supplier coordination to help align material selection with both design intent and performance requirements.

AFX surfaces are engineered using Electron Beam Curing (EBC), enhancing the performance of the laminate surface beyond that of standard HPL.
This process creates a tightly bonded, non-porous surface layer that improves resistance to marking, wear, and environmental exposure, while supporting antibacterial and antiviral performance.
The resulting ultra-matte finish reduces light reflection, minimises visible fingerprints, and helps maintain a clean, consistent appearance in everyday use. Minor surface abrasions can also be reduced through cleaning, including the use of melamine sponges, supporting long-term visual integrity.
Compared to standard laminates, AFX offers a more resilient and controlled surface, making it well suited to applications where durability, hygiene, and visual consistency are essential.
